Dog Agility is fun!
Welcome to our Club!
We are now training @ Underlane, Nr. Helston

We are a small, vibrant Cornwall Club offering training and support in Dog Agility for all!
Young or old, Large or Small we cater for all levels from Beginners to Competition
Group training is provided once a week, outdoors in summer & indoors during the winter.
We also run 2 Open Shows each year, May and September @ Stithians Showground
During the Winter we hold 3 Winter League Matches for local clubs indoors.
Novice Groups
These group training sessions follow on from the beginners.
By this stage the dogs are confident in negotiating the obstacles & are ready to start putting sequences together.
This class is always fun, its great to see a partnership forming between handler & their dog!
The class aims to encourage & build confidence in handler & dog ability.
The Novice group will help to prepare the handler & dog for competition.
(You do not have to compete if you don't wish to, just have some fun!)
Beginners Groups
We start our beginners group normally around Easter each year, although sometimes we can accommodate during the year.
No previous experience is necessary, although a good recall and basic obedience is advantageous!
All prospective handlers and their dogs will undergo an initial assessment, to ensure Agility is for them.
Handlers are taught about body language & communication with their dog, whilst negotiating obstacles.
The emphasis on training is FUN. Dogs are not forced to do anything they aren't happy with.
We use positive reinforcement methods to improve handlers and dogs confidence.
The Beginners Group starts with an initial 6-week course.

Competition Group
This class follows on from the Novice Group & is aimed at improving skills for competition.
This is where the fun really starts, as you start to master more complex sequences!
With a continued emphasis on fun, you will learn more advanced techniques.
We are non-profit Club, run by volunteers for you.
